Lash Lifts
Ready to ditch eyelash curler and mascara? Get luscious, curled, dark lashes that is retained, even after a shower or swimming, lasting 4 - 12 weeks!
What's a lash lift?

It’s a semi-permanent treatment that enhances your natural lashes, making them appear fuller and longer. It’s 100% your natural lashes, lifted and tinted to appear darker. The result is longer looking lashes that last 8-12 weeks.  We use a unique technique combining a lifting lotion and silicone rods to lift your natural lashes. You’ll get curl without that weird kink you sometimes get from clamping down with a curler. Lash lifts are a maintenance-free alternative to eyelash extensions. As careful as we try to be with our lash curlers, we tend to pull and tug the root of our lashes, loosening them for premature shedding causing damage to your lashes.  We have had clients who's lashes have improved, gotten healthier, and longer from getting lash lifts and lash extensions!

There is no need for any maintenance appointments in between but you will need to have the process repeated every 6-12 weeks to lift the new hair growth. There are some situations that may cause the lift to drop/weaken prematurely.  You can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 6 weeks if you feel the need to, or you can wait until they are back to their natural state which is typically 8-12 weeks. Your natural lashes can be transformed to enhance the eyes.  This creates the universally desired “open eye” look. .

What's the difference between lash extensions and lash lifts?

The processes are quite different.  With lash extensions, the lengths and fullness can be customized to a shape to look as natural or as dramatic as you'd like. We can also create a cat eye or doll eye shape, that is tailored to the shape of your eye and facial features.

With lash lifts, it's 100% your natural lashes lifted upward to enhance your natural lashes. There isn't anything additional applied to your lashes. Just like you'd use a lash curler, you would get the same look but only a sleeker curve to your lashes. So you get to wake up with beautiful lifted lashes everyday. You can still use mascara for even more volume or length. If you're looking for some definition without the commitment to lash extensions, a lash lift is the perfect solution.

Will it damage my natural lashes? Does it hurt?

No, we are certified,  trained and experienced Lash Lift specialists that will perform the procedure with proper care and technique. There is absolutely no pain during the process and no damage to your lashes and the formulas are gentle on your eyes and lashes!  We use the highest grade products in the industry that are all safe and formaldehyde-free!

Who would be a great candidate for a lash lift?

Lash Lifts are for clients that are pleased with the length of their natural lashes but want a semi-permanent curled, enhanced mascara look. It is NOT recommended for clients that have alopecia, conjunctivitis (pink eye),  Trichotillomania (hair-pulling disorder), or chemotherapy clients.

What if my lashes are really short?

Lash Lifts are for everyone. I suggest giving it a try because most people are shocked at the actual length of their lashes after a Lash Lift. You’ll never know your lash potential if you don’t give it a try. If you’re looking for more volume, you may want lash extensions! If you’re still not sure, we would be more than happy to offer a complimentary consultation to determine if a lash lift is a right fit for you.

What's the process?

After your initial intake you’ll lay down and get comfy. We start with a quick cleaning of the eye area. Once a curl size is selected (S-XL, depending on the length of your natural lashes) the rods are placed to your eyelids with a silicone, water-soluble glue. Using the water-soluble glue, your lashes are placed perfectly and stayed put onto the rods. Once each lash is in it’s perfect place, a ‘Lift Lotion’ is applied. We let that process for a 'x' amount of minutes, and then removed; followed by a 'Setting Lotion' letting that process for another 'x' amount of minutes.  Once all of the solution is removed, a custom blended tint is applied that makes the entire lash dark and visible. Next, we remove everything, followed by a thorough cleaning of the eye area. You then get to open your eyes and see the lash lift instantly on your beautiful eyes lasting 4-12 weeks!

How long does the lash lift procedure take?

Everyones hair process time is different; some process shorter and some process a little longer. The entire process takes around 45-90 minutes.

Is a lash lift the same as a lash perm?

No. The Lash lift is a new, improved procedure, overcoming the ‘over curled’ look of its predecessor. Whilst the chemical procedure is identical to a perm, the difference is in the results. By ditching the old fashioned perm rollers which curled back the lashes to the extent of the ‘dolly look’, the silicone pads used for this new procedure lifts the lash from the root in either a straight or curled, upwards fashion that produces length and a bright eyed enhanced look. This is not the typical lash perm you may have heard about in the 80's!  Historically, lash perms used tiny curlers on your lashes along with a strong solution. The lash lift has come a long way since then. Each lash is lifted one-by-one at the root; which allows them to look longer and lifted! The solution is designed to be more nourishing for your lashes.

What's a lash tint?

The lash tint gives your lashes a long-lasting mascara effect without the hassle of smudging, running, or clumping lashes. A lash tint is also great for those who have naturally light colored (blonde, gray, light brown) lashes.

Do I need a lash tint? Can I get a lash lift and lash tint done at the same time?

It's up to you! You don't need to but a lot of our clients end up booking both at the same time. Getting a lash tint done has amazing benefits. A lot of times, certain parts of our lashes are naturally lighter in color (usually the tips) and by getting a lash tint it will make the lashes look even with the color. The colour is customizable, we mix all of our tints to create the color you desire. We can create different shades of colors from a natural color to a dark dramatic color. You can get both a lift and tint done at the same time, to give the mascara-like look even with a natural color!

What else should i know?

Sometimes you’ll have ‘baby lashes’ growing in at the time of your lift that may appear bent or at a weird angle as they grow out. This is typically around the time that they’ll soon be shedding naturally anyway, and/or is a sign that it’s time for your next lift.
