Before Your Appointment
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes
No mascara, eyeliner, or eye makeup on the day of your appointment. Leftover makeup or oil residue can prevent the lifting solution from processing evenly.
Skip oily products beforehand
Avoid oil-based makeup removers, moisturizers, or skincare near the eyes in the 24 hours before your appointment — oil creates a barrier that can affect how well the lift processes.
Remove contacts, if you wear them
Bring glasses instead, or a lens case to remove your contacts once you arrive.
Limit caffeine beforehand
Since your eyes stay closed for an extended period, limiting caffeine a few hours before your appointment helps you stay comfortable and still throughout the service.
After Your Appointment
Keep lashes completely dry for 24 hour
No water, steam, sauna, or heavy sweating for the first 24 hours — moisture during this window can relax the curl before it's fully set.
Skip mascara for the first 24 hours, and skip waterproof formulas going forward
Once the 24-hour window has passed, mascara is fine if you want it — but stick to a water-based, oil-free formula made for lash lifts. Waterproof and oil-based mascaras require oil-based removers to take off, and that oil weakens the lift and shortens how long your curl holds.
No lash curler
Your lashes are already lifted — a curler on top of that can overstress and damage them.
Sleep on your back if you can
Sleeping face-down or pressing your face into a pillow can flatten the curl while it's still settling in the first day or two. A silk pillowcase also helps reduce friction.
Brush gently as needed
If lashes look slightly flat or tangled after a shower, gently brush them into place with a clean spoolie once dry.
Repeat Appointments
A minimum of 8 weeks is recommended before your next lash lift, allowing new lash growth to come in. For the best lash health, it's best to wait until your lifted lashes have returned to their natural curl before your next appointment. This is generally 4–8 weeks, with some clients holding the curl up to 12 weeks. If you added tint, expect that specifically to fade within 2–6 weeks, sometimes sooner than the lift itself.
What's Normal
You may notice a few lashes growing in at a different angle as your natural cycle continues, this is normal and simply means those lashes are getting ready to shed and regrow, not a sign anything went wrong.
